Default Screen Scrolling

Hi
How do i set the screen to scroll smoothly either from play or once the cursor reacheds the edge of the screen.

Options->Scrolling->Page (assuming you're on PT7)

I mean this in the nicest possible way, but based on this and your other question, you might want to spend a little bit of time with the manual (it's installed in the "Documentation" folder inside Applications->Digidesign) or can be found here.

if you mean smooth scroll with the cursor a-la live...you're looking at either the DV toolkit or HD. Not in LE.

Hi
Go to Operations/Scroll options/Page Scroll During Playback

click on 1 of 3 different modes for scrolling in above menu

Thanks for that guys.
Re "manuals" I know where they are. At work on the MAC. Unfortunately when Im there Im so busy with clients that rarely get a moment to look at them, but save up a number of questions id like to answer over the weekend, hence the posts. Im sure its true to say that just about every question is answered in the manual somewhere.

Im learning PT as a background task as it is not my main platform, so opportunities to use manuals at work are almost nil.
