shared library error on launch

Recently had to archive and reinstall Mac os 10.2.6 on my Powermac G4 due to power outage. Now ProTools digi 001 6.1.2 won't launch. I get the following message: "Application Launch Failure. The application Pro Tools could not be launched because of a shared library error - Pro Tools PPC dbg><Pro Tools PPC dbg><DAE>"
Should I reinstall Pro Tools? If so, could it mess up any files I have?
