Default Apogee Rosetta 800 vs. Lucid ADA 8824?

We're looking to enhance our incoming audio into our Digi 002. We have multiple beat machines and synths(keyboards). all these mahines and boards are routed to 3 patchbays(Behringer) direct to a mackie 24x8. We now need a very good converter box into and out of the 002. We record @ 48 sample rate. Hip-Hop, figuring that 96 and above would make it sound to clear and alot of our plug-ins are not yet @ 96 nor would we be able to do any multple recording digitally above 48, so...

What would u recommend as the best possible AD?DA converter(s)...... Apogee, Lucid?
