Just be aware that the Axiom Pro is a different beast to the Novation. Hypercontrol is direct mapping of the DAW as opposed to the Novation technique which is a workaround.

+1 for the Axiom Pro. Although no evidence here of the reported crashing. Perhaps you can submit the session to test on another one?

I have an Axiom Pro 61 as well and have had no crashes yet due to large track count or Massive amounts of plugs. NOTE I also have a Mackie Control Universal Pro and extender so I don't really use the faders on the Mackie. They are handy but I would use them to actually track with, pretty annoying for any serious adjustments.

I find the axiom pro faders very stiff and odd

i have the old axiom 61 and the faders feel more natural
i was thinking of upgrading but the white color and the faders are a turn off

I'M SO TORN

Have you guys used both?

The problem with the axiom to me is the lack of having a dedicated LCD above each knob/fader, you don't find you have to hunt for the right fader?

It seems that the novation has that ability. Has anyone really compared the two? Thanks
