Default Unruly Plugins Menus

I have PT 6.4 for PC, and recently got me copy of FXpansion, so I can indulge in the world of VST plugs; and indulge, I have. Problem is, when I go to add a plug to a track, I now have so many freakin' choices, they actually run off the edge of my computer screen, and I can't rightly read 'em all...

Is there a utility I can use that'll coral the plugs into submenus?!? I do believe that PT 6.7 or 7.0 has this built in, but I have a digi001, which isn't supported above 6.4...

Nope. (not in windows, anyway)

There's an old trick to rearrange them:

You make a subfolder in the plug-ins folder for each plug-in with the name of the folder the same, or similar, to the name of the plug-in. You drag the plug-ins from the DAE Plug-ins folder to the appropriate subfolder. - bring both the .dpm and the .dpm.rsr. They should now appear in alphabetical order.

You could also create folders this way for plugin types; EQ, reverb etc. Just be aware that the folders will not appear inside the program; the plugins will just be grouped next to each other in the list.

Wow, old school.
