Default PT 6.0 DIGI001 on OSX 10.3 HELP PLEASE!

Hello and thanks to whoever reads this. I'm also a new forum user. Anyway Im trying to run a Digi001 and pro tools 6.0 on a G4667. I have the pci card installed and PT 6 is installed as well. When I go to start a new PT session, PT crashes out the whole comp and I get the infamous black screen of death. I also have PT 5. Id prefer to work on OS X but I can use OS9 as well. Also I cant seem to upgrade PT 6 on the digidesign site because when I put in my serial number it says its not valid. Any help or suggestions would be great, also if I have to use OS9 im noy afraid of that, just let me know what you guys think.
Thanks in advance for any help!!!
-Jesse
