Avid S3 on Ethernet Switch
does anyone have any experience running an S3 using an ethernet switch? success? if so, what switch?
fwiw i don't need access to the audio i/o on the S3, just the surface. thank you! philip

Running on a simple Netgear switch. No AVB but Eucon works.
It even works with my laptop when I'm only connected via Wifi. Eucon networking has been very stable for me the last 3 years

I would imagine *most* users have their units on switches - I'm not using an S3, but 3 S1s/Dock on a simple Netgear managed switch (GS308E) without issue.
