Kurzweil PC88mx is not working in Pro Tools 2021.3.1

I am having a difficult time getting my Kurzweil midi board to work in Pro Tools. I have gotten to the stage of having an instrument track inserted with the new East West Opus installed in it and there is sound when the keys in Opus are depressed using the mouse. However, pressing keys on the physical keyboard does not trigger a response in Opus. I do have the "record" button activated. I am fairly certain that I have not gotten the correct configuration in the Set Up part of Pro Tools, so I need some very specific and elementary instruction on how I should proceed.

Addition to message: I am using Windows 10 Pro, AMD Ryzen 3900, 128 GB RAM, m.2 2 TB system drive, m.2 2 TB samples drive, 2 TB SSD (X3) storage drives.

I used to have a Kurzweil Midi Board. I liked the weighted action on it. It was a pain to move as it weighed a lot. I finally got tired of straining my back and sold it. I miss it.

Kurzweil is a prime example of the first rule in stage tech... if it weighs a lot it is good. Haha, but seriously if any brand keyboad has weighed action it is heavy. And back in the day Kurzweil was best the money could buy. I had PC2 almost two decades ago, but nowadays using Ivory sounds exclusively.

I checked the PC2 weight. It was pretty heavy at 35 Lbs. Compare that with the Midiboard at 85 Lbs! My back is still out of wack from moving that thing by myself.

Sure, PC2 is lightweight but still sounded great at its time

Still a lot lighter than a B3. Used to schlep one around back in the day (mostly by myself). And let's not forget the Leslie
