Default 8.0.4 latency adjusting issue?

been using the le 8.0.4 on win 7 prof 64bit.

2 things happened recently.

never had these problems before all ran smooth.

1. while recording a session randomly got blue screen. not sure about that one.

2. while recording at any buffer ( I use 64 or 128 mostly ) I am able to record to the click and drums no problem and its on time. however when I play back the recorded track it sounds early to everything else. I have to move the track milliseconds to the right to line it up in time. its weird. like pt is adjusting the track and making it off time on the grid by putting it a bit earlier. anyone else experiencing this? is there a setting that I might have on that I didn't know does this or is it a glitch? I was recording a band yesterday were having problems with the guitars. client thought they were sucking when it was the program.

thanks

also it seems to be happening randomly. can it be plugins? this is a weird one.

if SANSAMP is one of the plugs then its' latency isn't bein' reported correctly. do a search on it...it's a recent thread.
