I can\'t undo record audio, I CANT UNDO !!!

I have 001, I can edit: "undo record audio" whenever I wish, if it was a bum take.
I downloaded Pro Tools Free yesterday for a friend and I record a bit but it will not let me undo it, I can audiosuite something or trim or something and I can undo it, BUT ONLY 1 LEVEL OF UNDO is available. Is this normal for the latest PTF?, or is it something else (wrong setting, puter). Somebody help me. Please. I like undo record audio (as we all do), so that the HD won't get filled up with unecessary audio files..
