Please Help settle debate
My friend and I have a debate giong on whos definition of Bar/Beat VS Absolute markers is correct when trying to paraphrase the manual.
My definition is: When you create a new Memory Location There are four time based options you must choose from 1. Bar|Beat (tick-based) its Markers diplay a Yellow Chevron. This marker will lock to a Bar Beat location and remain there as you change the tempo of the song. 2. Absolute which is (sample-based) and is represented by a Yellow diamond icon. This marker will remin fixed at the sample resolution Irregardless Of your tempo changes. His definition is: There are four time based options you must choose from 1. Bar|Beat (tick-based) its Markers diplay a Yellow Chevron. This marker will cause the playhead to jump to a defined memory loacation at the Bar Beat Resolution. 2. Absolute which is (sample-based) and is represented by a Yellow diamond icon. Will cause the playhead to jump to a user defined memory loacation at Sample resolution. Can anyone please help us out? |
