Default Plugins Crashing

Hey guys i had a guest engineer over the weekend who managed to lock up/crash my plugins rack. He said that he has done that before with other d-shows and profiles with the TC MD3 plugin specifically. He indicated that an upgrade in ram in the FOH rack would fix the problem. Have any of you had this problem or dealt with it? My boss wants me to run this down asap. I have checked the FAQ on both TC and DIGI and found nothing. Any help or push in the right direction would be awesome!

thanks, Jason
