ARA2 - error and crash on stereo tracks

Hmm, not a great start to the shiny new 2022.9 on Win 10 here. A regular stereo project with regular stereo tracks produces the following error when selecting Melodyne/Edit on any track or clip:

The channels in the clip(s) do not match for multichannel processing. Consolidate the clip to allow for ARA processing.

If I click the "More Info..." button, Pro Tools crashes and restarts.

If I consolidate the clip, I get the same error message.

Checking a second project, same behaviour on stereo tracks. Mono tracks are okay.

Win 10 21H1, Melodyne Editor 5.03.00011, PT Ultimate 2022.9, 64GB RAM, 7820X, RME babyface

Working here on both mono and stereo tracks, though I have Melodyne Studio. The latest version of Studio is 5.3.0.011. Could there be a more recent release of Editor?

Thanks for checking. Sadly it was a typo on my part, I'm also 5.3.0.011, so must be something else.

More tests here - uninstalled and reinstalled Melodyne, no change.

Created a blank project, one stereo track, got the same error.

Getting desperate, tried creating a 44.1k project (usually work at 48k). No change.

Anyone else any ideas to try?

EDIT - also tried interleaved and not.

Case submitted yesterday, still in the queue. I guess support are pretty busy at the moment.

Just trawling to see if anyone else has this. I have it consistently every time - mono tracks fine, stereo always generates errors. Support have replied, but still in the fact-generating part of the case.

Pro Tools running smoothly otherwise.

No issues here. Any other plugins on the track? When you tested, did you use the same audio clip or make a fresh one? I would try fresh audio, just as a reference. What buffer?

Just curious if interleaved vs split mono makes any difference?

No other plugins - new blank project with 1 created audio track and 1 new clip. Buffer 512 at the mo.
