'PRINT' is the name of a bus that all the tracks route to. 'PRINT MASTER' is a master fader for processing the audio on the PRINT bus. This bus then feeds the input of the audio track (on input monitor) which I record the mix to - this is then routed directly out to my monitors, so shouldn't matter that it bypasses ADC.

The issue will be that the aux sends in the session (or newly created ones) will stop being correctly compensated, despite being within ADC sample range. Very frustrating.

Same over here. But it's being like that since 12.4. If I have a 9173 error, tracks play out of time. So I have to restart a Pro Toos.

I'm thinking that it must have something to do with workflow/routing/plugins that triggers this. For me, ADC is working very well in HDX 12.7.1 (setup in signature). 12.4 also worked great for me.

PS: Naturally, I'm not saying it should be like this.

Hi,

I experience the same on Windows, when using hardware inserts. -9173 errors knocks sync out. Anything changed in the Playback Engine dialog will reset this.

Anytime I get a cpu low error this happens. I have to restart.

What works for me is go into the Playback Engine dialog, and check then immediately uncheck the 'Ignore errors' checkbox. Saves a reboot.

Yep, hardware insert sync is affected. On my system, not only is the sync misalignment triggered by 9173 errors, but randomly - on session load - where session CPU is > 40% or so. I now automatically 'reset' the playback engine when loading a session, just in case.

It's not particularly elegant.

It looks like that this errors are affecting hardware inserts and/or outputs...
