help using Waves RVox

I am new to Waves RVox- never used it before. I just wanted to know how it worked. Does it work the same way as RCompressor? If not, any tips and help on using RVox for vocals would be amazing.

Just f.y.i.: trying to use it on Indie-rock vocals [not sure if it matters].
