Default Eleven Rack Driver Uninstall

I ready to install the eleven rack 1.2.8 driver on El Capitan. However, I am getting the error 5364 when running the Avid Eleven Rack driver uninstaller.

Any ideas?

Welcome to the community.

Are you running the uninstaller included with the new driver?

Be sure your 11R is not turned on when you try to uninstall the old driver.

You'll need to restart your computer before you can install the latest driver.

Just FYI

Yes I had the Eleven Rack off and unplugged form the usb port. I ended up manually deleting the digidesigenelevenrack.kext file from the extension folder. I'm not sure if there are other files to delete. I ran the installer and so far so good.

Glad to hear you are up and running.

I have tried every combo of install/uninstall with 1.2.5 and 1.2.8 on OS X 10.11.2 and could not make it fail. If you run into this again we might want to collect logs and get more info.

One question would be did you do an insitu OS X upgrade with the previous drivers installed? If you did all bets may be off.
