Workspace problem dae-43 error PT6.1

when I try to drag my ordinary wav files from the workspace window into the session I get DAE error-43 on an anyfile I am trying to drag in.
These files can still be imported correctly or added correctly when I do it in the region meny, but draging them from workspace gets this dae-43 error

My sessions are bwf and PC-MAC compatible

please help.

At what point do you get this error? Is it as soon as you drop the files, when you hit play, etc.? What happens if you drag the file to the region bin, then drag the newly created region to the timeline? Also, what happens if you hold the Alt key down when you drop - this forces PT to make a copy of the file?

I drag the file from workspace to the multitrack window to drop it, a couple of second later task window shows up wit the dae-43 error

more or less within 10 seconds after i have dropped them into multitrack. it looks like it starts to move it over for a while before the error shows up in task window

Same thing.but i never get a chance to drag the newly created region to the timeline while Pt is trying to move it to regionlist same thing happens task windows pops up with the dea-43 eroor

Same thing, but ontop of what happened before I also get the missing file window popping up

Still...there is no problem importing these files manually from regionlist, This problem only occurs when I drag them from workspace
