Default Viewing multiple automation lanes on one track

Anyone know a way to do this? Have multiple lanes open for the same track - pan L, pan R, volume etc...
Searched but no hits..
Thanks

The small triangle on the very left of the each track is your friend!

Little tiny arrow to open automation lane, then + sign to add more. For Pan, there is an All Pan Parameters options which is especially nice for surround planners. This might be for Ultimate only, though. Not sure.

Without the automation lanes showing I'm getting multiple lines on some tracks and not others. It makes it difficult to edit. How do I control what lines are shown (see image)?

Where it says Volume, click on that and select what you want to see.

Dave - thanks for your reply. I am really very experienced at ProTools (despite this noobie question) but this is one of those nagging things that bothered me that I never had time to research until now because I was trying to get a production out the door. Before I posted (here and one other place) I've searched and haven't found adequate answers and in some cases seemingly conflicting answers. So, please excuse me, I know the purple line is volume and the yellow is trim. I know if I set the drop down to waveform they'll disappear. I understand if I have a group to control volume that would be indicated. This is my template. I have no groups.

1) But I don't understand why MX_LVOX is showing three lines.
2) I googled and found two conflicting explanations of what the aqua line is for. One says "The blue line appears when the automation mode is set to "Off" instead of "Read" or other active modes" which MX_BVOX is set to read. The other says "it shows the programmed fader movements for volume adjustments" which makes a little more sense but isn't that what the volume line is showing?
3) Why is MX_VOX not showing a blue line. It's a routing folder
4) MX_BAND is a routing folder too and it's just showing the volume line which is what I would expect.
5) I just don't understand why these tracks are all showing different lines.

Thanks again.
