Default I found an issue in Strike.

I have found an issue in Strike. Strike (at least on my machine) is not able to play a repeated pattern in "latch mode" and then at the same time, playing the note C1 to stop the pattern from playing and start triggering drum sounds individually from a MIDI track. ProTools will crash every time. I was able to remedy this by repeatedly triggering the pattern in "unlatch mode" and then begin playing the individual drum sounds from the MIDI channel.

This is the only way I was able to get this song to play. I have re-installed everything except my OS which I started to do until my Mac told me it would have to re-format my system drive and I just didn't want to go to the trouble since I was pretty sure that was not the problem. I hope this helps anyone that might run into this.

As I suggested send me the session and I'll try and reproduce the same issue on 2 of my Macs. It's not an issue until it is consistently reproduced across many machines. Until then it's machine specific. Send the session file to selllerness [at] gmail [dot] com or yousendit to me. I promise I'll take a look.

Can you also send it to:

vi [at] digidesign [dot] com

Please post your complete system specs here, as well as which specific troubleshooting steps you've done.

Russ - I edited your email address to prevent it from getting bot farmed...
