Transfer HD session to 001 and 002
I have a large TDM session (HD 5.3.1, Mac 9.2.2, 192 i/o); one client has an 001, the other has an 002; I'll be giving each of them the session on an external firewire drive.
There are loads of tracks (including some disabled), groups, FX, and various internal and external routings. What can I tell them to expect? Does it matter if they have Mac or PC? Thank you! -kid pro |

Re: Transfer HD session to 001 and 002
i usually break up the large sessions into smaller sub-sessions of 20-24 tracks..that way the studios i send them to can do their own submixes and make their own session files out of them. i always make sure to consolidate every track and send plugin settings in a folder with each session..if you send the larger session files they will wind up with a lot of inactive voices and will have to disable and enable voices to hear all the tracks.
