Default Accoustics

Im a newbie and am looking to purchase studio accoustics to treat my room.
It is an odd shaped room 163 inches by 112 inches.
Any advice where to place my microphone? moniters? other equipment
Which type of treatment should I purchase? how should I set it up?
Thanks!

This is an excellent source of information and they also provide a free tool for adapting your space.

Check with Primacoustics as they have some articles that might be useful. Also look online for Ethan Winer or John Sayers. Ready Acoustics or RealTraps too.

Thanks! Looks like a great site!
How do I access the threads on the forum? Every time I try to access the threads it asks me to register, which just brings me back to the home page?
