Default Plugin Alliance Password Reset/Account Creation Broken

Anybody else having problems with plugin alliance account maintenance stuff? I tried to create a new account, it sends a password reset message as part of that process (that itself is not great, it's no a reset, it's a first time create) and clicking on the link in that email gives a "link already used" error. I've reported to their support a day or so ago and not heard anything yet.

Hey Darryl,
I tried the PA-InstallationManager application just now. I didn't try logging out or creating a new account, so this probably doesn't help.

I don't remember previously having to check each box for my authorized plug-ins, but I had to this time. I had to check my account at https://www.plugin-alliance.com/en/manage-plugins.html to remember my owned plug-ins.

Worked for me, but that doesn't sound like the login problem you experience.

Did you try to recover your password or create a new account from the website, or from the installer app?

Hi Bruce

All website.

I thought I had a PA account with my standard email I use for all licensing stuff. But had used it almost not at all. Their system was sure I did not have an account with that email so I tried to create one and that's when the password reset emails don't work. I've never installed their install manager app.

Edit: In fact I know I had an account to the correct email since I found the old sign up emails... looks like Plugin Alliance lost stuff during all the the company mergring derring-do.

I'll give them a few more work days.
