Recommend MIDI keyboard/controller for PT8 + Windows 7

I bought an M-Audio Axiom 61, but I couldn't get it to work on my Windows 7 Pro machine. Can anyone recommend a similar controller that does work in Windows 7 running PT8? Akai MPK?

I had the same issue. The problem is that the Axiom doesn't know where to look for the driver when in fact it is there.

Go to device manager.
Right-click the yellow ! which shows your USB Axiom as having driver issues.
Select Update Driver.
Make sure you search for the driver in the C:\Windows\ directory.
The driver should now install correctly.
In the MIDI Controllers tab, you should now be able to select your AXIOM USB keyboard.
