Default Tempo change not working

I have a pro tools 12.8.3 project that has a tempo map of 130 bpm. It was originally 120 bpm and i changed it to 130 bpm. I modified all the tracks to be ticks and changed the elasticity for the bass to be rhythmic and the others to be polyphonic. Unfortunately, only the MIDI tracks have their tempo changed the others are still playing at the old tempo. Any ideas what might be causing this? The project is giving me a missing files message that i cannot get rid of
