Copying plugins from stereo tracks to mono
Is there any workaround for this?

Re: Copying plugins from stereo tracks to mono
My solution has been to save the plug-in settings, add a plugin to the other track, then recall the settings I just created. Don’t know of a faster way.

Re: Copying plugins from stereo tracks to mono
Doesn't shift-command-C/V work to copy and paste settings?

Re: Copying plugins from stereo tracks to mono
You cannot copy From stereo to momo with plugins... The amount of channels throws up a flag in PT and it won't allow it... Been happening for years... The Only work around is if yoh have a setting you like... Save it in the Plug in... You click on preset and then sVe settings As.... Save it... and then u can open up the Mono or stereo version of the plug and click on Factory defaults and a list will generate and u should see your Named plugin... Fastest Easiest way

Re: Copying plugins from stereo tracks to mono
If you are using multi-mono plugins, you can split you stereo channel to mono and then move the plugins from one of the newly created mono tracks to the track you wanted those settings/plugins to be on. (then you can delete those split mono tracks)
This will not work with multichannel plugins (when you do the split to mono, the multichannel plugins will disappear from those newly created mono tracks)

As tclash points out, shift-cmd-c / shift-cmd-v works just fine and is a big time-saver for this.

Re: Copying plugins from stereo tracks to mono
I didn't realize you can copy Settings with Control(apple) C and V.... For past... Because that's usually a command for Regions and text etc . Ill have to try that
