Pro Tools Artist issues

I bought Pro Tools Artist and I'm facing multiple issues. First, in Avid Link it shows up as "Pro Tools" and not Artist, and when I load up the DAW it pop up saying Pro Tools Ultimate.

On top of that, none of my plugins are loading.

I don't know what my issue is.

If you are completely new to PT my guess would be that you expect VSTs and AUs to show up in PT, they won't. The plugin format in PT is AAX, and most developers offer AAX. So if you have the installers still, install AAX. Otherwise check with the plugin developers.

The thing with PT launching as "Ultimate" (and perhaps also showing as Pro Tools in Avid Link), I think has to do with new installs of PT having a 30-day of the full version, Ultimate. After 30 days, the trial license will stop functioning and you must switch to your Artist license in Ilok License manager. The PT installer installs the same thing whatever license you have. The license you have decides which features you have access to and not.

Can you see both the Artist and the trial licenses in LicManager?
