Need to download PT 8.0... (help DTS!)

Okay. I just updgraded my PC to Windows 7 x64. Now, it seems I can't install PT.

I purchased a PT box a long time ago (ver 7.3). I then downloaded and installed the 7.4 update. Later on, I purchased and installed 8.0, but I can't remember how I did it. These are all the files I found in my hard drive related to updates...

pro_tools_m-powered_setup_v74_41955 (this one updated my 7.3 to 7.4)

Pro_Tools_MP_801_Updater_61566 (this one is 8.01, but I can't remember if I installed it over 7.4...)

ptmp801cs1_63452 (this is CS1 for 8.01)

ptmp80cs2update_57890 (my CS2 update)

ptmp80cs3update_60349 (my CS3 update)

Pro_Tools_MP_804_Updater_67106 (update to 8.04)

All I have is updates. I went to Digi's... ok... Avid's website to try to locate an 8.0 full installer, and I couldn't. The website is the most horrible thing I've ever seen, and finding anything in there is just impossible.

So, here are the questions I'd need help with...

1. Is there actually an 8.0 full installer I can use, and where is it?
2. If not, can I install 7.3 from my DVD, and directly update to 8.04 using the updater?
3. Or, last chance, can I install 7.3 from my DVD, and then go through all the updates I have to get to 8.04? If so, which ones are mandatory and which ones can I skip? I'd like to keep this as short as possible...

did you go to your Avid account, the downloads should be available in your account.

Ah! Thanks man! That didn't occur to me... indeed, there they are... the full installers... I'll give these a go... thanks again!

what do we do if we purchased pro tools from guitar center. where can WE get the full installers? Thanks for any answers or advice.!

Go to the Avid website, register yourself on the website and then register your purchased software with all the registration codes. Once done you can login to the website and download any updates or do the full download but you have to be a registered user on the web site and have registered your software.
