Default Hardware insert in Pro Tools

I have a ProTools using an UA Apollo with hardware inserts. Works fine when working on a session, but when I bounce the track I get no signal at all (just silence). Any idea?

What *exactly* are you bouncing/doing?

You are doing a real time bounce right? I ask because others make that mistake...

Are you doing an off-line bounce? They will only work on real-time bounce, I think.

Assuming you are doing a real-time bounce, how are you physically doing the bounce? Are you selecting the regions/tracks you want to bounce? Are you routing all tracks to another track to print a stereo mix, then bouncing the print mix? If you’re bussing all the recorded tracks to a print track, make sure the print track is an AUX, not an Audio track. I made that mistake and couldn’t figure out why my bounced stereo mix was 43MB, but silent! Changed the print track from audio to AUX and it worked.
