I hear you... even I run into this error occasionally (though can't remember the last time it logged me out).

The DUC is using a very old version of vBulletin, and there's some interaction between that and other 'protection' tools which I believe is causing the permission error. We've looked into it multiple times but have been unable to identify the root cause.

Will keep investigating, but I would recommend writing any lengthy posts in a word/text app or at least copying your post before submitting.

PERMISSION DENIED! should be the name of a death metal band, I suspect they will play ESP and Chapman guitars.

I know this has been flogged to death before, but clearing browser cache, switching browsers, logging out… none of that has ever worked for me, the only thing that seems to work for me is breaking up the post into shorter segments, in some cases maybe making a trivial change like adding a line break to a post. Or sometimes after a while it just works, not clear if that is caused by others posting… I suspect some of the claims we are all making of what fixes this may just be random coincidences of the problem fixing it self.

Jeffro, a quick look at network traffic with a reproducible occurance of this error shows a 403 error with strict-origin-when-cross-origin policy failure, I have a HAR log of that failure and think I understand why it was happening at least in this case. You may be well ahead here/looked at this already but could you PM me.

I agree DUC has been dicey for years. I get logged out all the time. Please fix DUC stability.
