Oooo, I wish I could do that. I never put them on new sessions but have to keep them around in case we're asked to open and revise an old session. Otherwise, I'd love to *Office Space* them like a dot matrix printer, right into the land fill.

One workaround for 3rd Party Plug-Ins is to try the VST3 version hosted in BlueCat PatchWork for FX or BlueCat PatchWork Synth for VI's (or alternative host), as this seems more stable when the AAX version won't behave

SubLab instantly brought Pro Tools to a halt (Intel days). Changing presets? Stopped Pro Tools every time.

SubLab XL on Apple Silicon? Same exact behavior: load it on an Instrument track, it stops playback as well as when changing presets.

VST version works but LIVE's meters go crazy, it struggles with it.

Does anyone use SubLab XL in Pro Tools successfully?

Is my copy possessed or is this plugin just not meant to be AAX?

I was just thinking about them the other day because I was cleaning out some Applications and their product installer was in there - started it up and it's all just 404's and can't do anything, like maybe they released a newer version and killed the old http endpoints it used?

Amateur hour stuff.

well the plugins that are the fattest, ie the ones that require the most delay compensation and use more CPU are the Universal Audio. In generalplugins that have lots of modulation associated with them tend to be very hungry as far as delay comp and usage

Any Sublab XL users out there? I can't be the only one using it in the aax world.

This thing just doesn't work, for me at least.

It has some cool subs and would like to use them.

Anybody?

I have no problem whatsoever with UA plugins.

What is your system like, memory, OS, PT version?
