MP3 THAT CANT BE PLAYED BY MY CLIENT
Hi there I haver recorded a 30 second radio comercial for a client in the UK, (im in the US) they wanted it as an MP3. So I conveted the final mix to an MP3 useing Itunes, and sent it as an atachement to them, they recived it but could not open it.
I was of the belieff that an MP3 would be able to be plaed on there PC. Could it be that I use AOL and that interfears with the file transfer of the attachment? Here is what they asked for Could you send it again in a different MP3 format - MPEG Layer 111 128bit J.Stereo.MP3 how would I make this conversion beffore I sent it? Please help Thanx NoteFarm |

Re: MP3 THAT CANT BE PLAYED BY MY CLIENT
I would put my money on AOL email screwing with the attachment.
I've seen this happen with so many different file types that I can't even count! Try another email client and see if that works. Good luck!

Agreed. When it comes to its email facilities, AOL sucks like nothing that has ever sucked before.

Re: MP3 THAT CANT BE PLAYED BY MY CLIENT
Agreed here as well...
AOL SUCKS!! I would go one step further and make the mp3 192k...it's far better than 128 and at :30...it shouldn't be that big...probably 700kb! As long as it's less than 5MEG, it should work with almost any e-mail service...well, except Yahoo...I'd say Yahoo runs a close second in the sucking department behind AOL. By the way, are you using the Digidesign MP3 import/export utility? It's pretty reliable...in fact it's been flawless for me for two years! I haven't had one complaint from any client regarding e-mail of an mp3! Murph |

Re: MP3 THAT CANT BE PLAYED BY MY CLIENT
The problem is in the way you email it. Convert to mp3, then compress it with Winzip or Stuffit before you email it. It's like packing it in a box. Files sometimes get damage when you email them.
