Default Using mbox as primary interface for Windows XP

Hi!

I can't find any info about this, but it should be a common problem.
I've chosen my Mbox in the list of primary audio interfaces in audio settings in XP, but only the programs that can be manually connected to the Digidesign ASIO driver produces any sound. Any game, Media Player or anything is all quiet. Is there a solution for this?

Thanks for your help!

Have you even read the Getting Started Guide?

If you had, it would have led you to this Digidesign page (click here) that has detailed instructions on how to get third party audio applications working through the Digidesign hardware.

Keep in mind:
  1. The Digidesign drivers are all single client drivers, maening only one program can use them at a time.
  2. The Digidesign Wavedriver is playback only.

Yeah, iv'e tried this but it won't work. I have an idea about the S/PDIF input on my mbox, how does that work? I want to send a digital signal from my old interface and put it directly in to the mbox. Would that work? Do i have to change any settings for the mbox to recognize the digital signal?
