Default Newbie Question #2

If I use a preamp with my MBox, do the internal preamps of the Mbox get bipassed? Is there anything special I need to do, or just connect the wires and go.

Connect an XLR connector, and you're be using the mic input, thus using the MBox preamp.
Connect a TRS jack and you'll be going through the line in, thus bypassing the MBox preamp.

Simple. XLR, preamp, jack, no preamp.
