Default Bombs Away!

I've been using PT Free on an iMac without problems. I'm now using an H-P Pentium 3 running at 533 mhz with 128 meg RAM, 20 gig HD & Win 98. The system makes the most horrible sound when I attempt to open PT Free. It crashes, forcing me to turn off my power strip for the entire PC rig and start over. Any suggestions? I really enjoyed using the program on the Mac.
