Default Listenback / Talkback problem

I can't seem to get listenback input. I did everything the manuals say, but it won't work. Is the wiring also wrong like it was with older main-units ?
I tried connecting several dynamic and condenser mikes but still no result.
Also the parameters in the main-unit utility-pages seem to be in order, what am I missing here???
The pots on the backside make no difference if I turn them up or down.
Talkback works and slate works , why not
the listenback???

I have an 'old' version main unit and have succeeded in finding the listenback input but have found that the gain is exceptionaly quiet to apoint that when the main control room volume volume is turned up enough to hear it and you accidently press play or a talent plays a mic you will find your drivers embeded in the rear wall of your control room!!!!! One problem is that the dim on talk back dims the listenback/mains as well!!!!!! it works but use with caution!

Hope this helps

Yeah I noticed . I succeeded in finding the listenback input and also experienced the quietness of the input. Even turning up the pot on the backside is not satisfactory. So I ended up sending this mike-input over one of my focusrites and turned up the gain by 48 dB's.
You read this digi!!! In my humble opinion this is an example of bad engineering
Guys, thanks for your reactions.
