Default is this forum dead?

This used to be where I'd go when I had a few minutes, say, waiting for a video to copy from the jump drive (like I'm doing right now). It's sad for me to see only one topic with any new comments posted in almost a month. Ouch. Where are all the post pros hanging out these days? I miss you guys.

That's interesting because I tend to see the most people viewing this forum of the ones I try to keep up with. Usually 60-80 people viewing at one time...

Would love to have all you post guys and gals take our survey and join our post audio/pro mixing webinar on Tuesday!

Have a great weekend...

Tom

yeah, it's really weird, because I looked at the main page of this forum and didn't even see my post, not to mention your reply... I found this through my User CP, but there must be something set screwy on my viewing on the main post page. Never mind. Carry on. Nothing to see here. Keep up the posting and trolling and what not.

I see a lot of the people who used to post here, posting in Gearslutz now.

I don't post at Gearslutz on a regular basis. However, I did just respond to a post on Gearslutz where someone was complaining about a bug not being fixed. I didn't direct him here, but this is where such things should be posted.

I have a feeling that there are a lot of lurkers who are intimidated to post when the heavies might be reading (I'm not one of the heavies).

Or, perhaps because PT 10.3.2 is so stable, nobody is rebooting and posting on their laptops these days while waiting for PT to launch...

Right Tom?

Have a great holiday all...

I think it's because the post community is quite busy. It is much better this way, because the "signal to noise" ratio is much better.
If something important come up, there is room for discussion.

Busy here!, but that aside...

Plus in the past we only had to check the post forum and the HD mac forum and job done (no offence pc people) - , now it is so diluted between hd, hdx and native and post and AAX forums - phew....

Food for thought Avid?

No, this forum is not dead, but became more Pro Tools - specific, in context of post production.

In the past there were many discussion about tech specs, solving problems (also other than PT software), etc.

But indeed, when Post Prodution Forum! at Gearslutz was launched, many "general" questions went there...

best regards,
Kuba
