Enhanced disc handler
This looks interesting and makes mention to it will help slower discs. Ok what if you have a pretty decent disc and rig? Will it still help performance with lots of plugs and tracks?

Re: Enhanced disc handler
Well, I was considering going out to buy a new FW drive that was definitely 'PT Compatible' recently, but I just tried my second Lacie (black case, blue light, poulton model) and bam it works like a charm!
Tried recording on it as well and it works fine. It just wouldn't work in PT9. :)
