VE PRO 5 is out. How is VEP 5 working for you?

I have problem assigning more than 1 audio input. The sound distorts as soon as I assign the second one.

Edit: my bad. Solution hit the PLAY button in PT...

Question....

I don't own any Vienna instruments but definitely want VE Pro 5.

It says on their website you can purchase and download EPIC horns for Euro 145, which included the Vienna software.

Isn't this better than buying VE Pro by itself?

Included Vienna software with any package is Ensemble not Ensemble Pro (unless stated otherwise). Ensemble will only run vienna instruments and not 3rd party plugs.

Very interesting to see if I can move every native plugin, except AIR plugins, over to the VI Mac Pro now. Stuff like Altiverb, IK Multimedia Ampeg SVX, Amplitube, and such.

A lot will depend on what your workflow is, and how much you are prepared to change it to accommodate VEP5.

I am willing to make some changes to ease the strain on the old G5. It doesn't take much to choke it.
