Midi plays back wrong sometimes
Hi
I was working on a rather large arrangement (82 tracks) the other day, and sometimes I would hit play and my midi or more precisely instrument tracks would play out of time by about 1 bar. Sorry I can't be more precise as I was on the session and couldn't spend long on this. If I press stop and then play again straight away, all is good again. I think the main culprit was SampleTank SE, but can't be sure if it was just that one. However, the MIDI only track that is sending to BFD on a seperate machine always played fine. This is on a HD2 system with PT7.0. I know this is really vague and don't expect to many answers, I was just wondering if anyone has come across this aswell? Thanks Kim |

Quote:
If that doesn't help, bounce half of the tracks so you're not dealing with so much MIDI. If you don't want to deal with audio, simply cut MIDI tracks until you no longer get latency. You might find that you don't miss the tracks you've cut.
