Default Midi Time Code (MTC), or Midi Beat Clock

Hi, I am trying to sync my Mac Digi 002R/ProTools LE with Acid Pro 5.0c on my PC. Does Protools LE generate MTC, or Midi Beat Clock ? Acid Pro seems to want MTC only, and perhaps this is why it's not working.. Thanks

pt does not generate mtc or beat clock.
i sync my pt rig with my mpc 2000 via mtc. the 2000 generats mtc. also i can control protools from the 2000 thru mmc(midi machin control). you will probaly need a smpte box that will lock up your set up.

good luck!

Not sure which version you use, but in both 5.21 and 6.4, PTLE CAN generate BOTH MTC and midi beat clock. For MTC hit the apple button and #2 on the keypad, and select the midi output for the MTC to be sent. Double check to make sure yer frame rates are the same. For beat clock, its under the midi menu.

About beat clock, do you know if it's possible to sync ProTools to incoming Beat Clock data?

I would also like to know if Pro Tools can chase MIDI Beat Clock. I am using DP for MIDI and PT for audio and would like to sync the tempos using MIDI Beat Clock while using MMC & MTC for syncing transports.

Digi?
