Question Bug? jump scroll up

I an experiencing a situation where my window jumps from the lower regions (tracks) to the upper regions (tracks) when I click on a track visible in the upper part of my screen.

I created a test session with 15 tracks and expanded them to large view so I could not see all the tracks in the window. Scrolled to the bottom (track 15) and clicked on the top track visible in the window. The screen did not jump.
I scrolled up incrementally one track at a time. When track 7 became visible and I clicked on it, the screen jumped to Track 1. This repeats consistently.

I created 31 tracks and experienced the same problem at tracks 25 and 15.

I have 2 matching HD systems here in the same room. Same computers same software versions. One has this issue, the other does not.

When I move the drive with the session between systems, the problem does not follow.

Is this a preference or a bug?

Hi,

I think you have set the preference for "edit window to follow track selection" its in the preferences! can't remember exactly where and the exact phrase, but i'm quite sure thats your problem.
