Magma PE6R4 latency?

Will soon be making a switch from the G5 to a Mac Pro for my master computer. Are there any specs for the difference in latency between running PCI-X HD Accel 3 cards in a Magma PE6R4 vs. swapping the cards for PCIe cards hosted directly by the Mac Pro?

And yes, I know that some people will say "why do you need either?" Nevertheless , would love to know whether anyone knows of or has done a direct comparison of the latency inherent in these two configurations. Would also welcome subjective impressions.

I haven't noticed any latency or loss of performance issues at all with my MacPro and Magma PE6R4.

I am using the UAD-2 card with my HD6 system. The 6 HD cards live in my Magma PE6R4 and the UAD-2 lives inside my Harpertown. No issues.

FYI the chassis should NOT hold anything but the HD cards, the UAD2 cards should sit internally.
