Default Wireless Keyboard/mouse...?

Digi says to disable Bluetooth only if it is causing problems with PT. Anyone using either of these devices without issue?

???

No.
Not under PT8 with a low buffer setting!
With my mighty mouse PT7 worked fine! And 8 works if the buffer is set at about 256ish. With it set at its lowest it gives errors after a short time. Switch bluetooth off and no troubles!

That is just me with a MacBook pro 2.4,
I'm not sure if anyone else has the same problem? And as I said,it is fine to use when mixing with the buffer set higher. I do like my Bluetooth MM.

Yeah but your spec states with PT7.4!as I said no problems with 7, but my Bluetooth is not working right with PT8.

I am using PT8 on a macbook pro 2.2 GHz, and I use the bluetooth keyboard and mouse all the time no problems. I was getting some cpu errors, but they were still there when I disabled bluetooth, so not an issue with the keyboard and mouse.

I did quite a bit of testing with my system to find out what was causing the cpu errors. I created 48 audio tracks and set the buffer at its lowest setting with the mbox 2 micro, Armed all the tracks and hit record. The system crashed at various different times with bluetooth on (normally under a minute). With bluetooth switched off I let the system record for close to 4 minutes before I stopped it with no cpu crashes at all. From the tests I did everything pointed to the bluetooth mouse being the problem(with low buffer settings). I know it is a crazy test but I was trying to give it extreme settings. As I said these are just my findings and I'm sure other systems will have different results.

My setup was as follows

Macbook Pro 2.4, 4gb ram
Using internal 7200rpm Seagate 320gb hard drive(partitioned)
(I know it is not suggested but it runs great)
Mbox micro 2
OS10.5.6
PT8LE.
