Protools HD 1 Maximum Overload
i am currently contemplating the purchase of a second PCIe card because an issue will arise currently using one pci card. When I use up a certain # of voices, usually somewhere between 75 or above. Playback will be interupted by an error message stating that I should try reducing the number of voices per DSP. I tried that and... well it was a temporary fix. My system usage page is in the red and I' m not using any DSP's, in fact I had to pull a few out just to start playback. Is it time for another card or is there maybe a way to consolidate voices so to free up others????
