Default piano roll in midi track

hi there - i have PT7. it happens that i change the view of the midi tracks in the edit window by accident (blame the shortcuts). i don't know how. but i end up with one midi track with very fat notes and i only see about 5, 6 keys in the piano roll. it's a bit annoying... and i don't know how to restore the 'view'. i've searched in the manual, on this forum... still no clue. can anyone help?

i know that i can change the view on the top left (the arrows), but that changes the view of ALL the midi tracks.

another question: when i change the blue marker (that turns red when recording), i often have a different in and out point. even when i want just an "in" point.
is this an issue of PT7, or is my mouse doing tricks? or am i too old and shaky?

Select the zoomed track.
In command focus mode, press Alt+E.
or
If not in command focus mode, press Alt+Start+E.

Covered on page 254 of the Reference Guide in case you want to know more.

Default Re: piano roll in midi track

thx a lot.
but i don't seem to control it completely. f.e. i select the 'strings' (track + notes) and then i press that key combination. the view changes. but the view of the drums change too. and when i go the drums and do the same thing, the view of the strings change again!?!?
i'm sorry - most of the times i find the solution in the manual, but now i'm stuck...
