How about looking it up in your manual.

Geez Ben, ease up a little. What exactly are you trying to accomplish with a batch fade?

Ben is right though: I don't see how anyone of us could describe it more precisely than the manual.

There is an index at the end of the manual, search for "batch fades". The paragraph is not even a page long. Read it and then experience with it on a new "test" session. Should take you about 5 mn to become a professional batch fader for life. Worth it, huh?

Then, if there is anything you still don't understand, come here and ask for a precise detailed question.

Let us know how it goes.

... the manual was not clear as to if Batch was TDM only or not and in my confusion while reding the manual I tried to look for a batch fade feature in the interface...but could not find it.

Prefs..Fade dialog...Menu...Ect.

Set your fade prefs in the preferences.

Select the regions across where you want to fade.

Press Control+Option+Command+F

The trick when you read the manual is to have a "test" session open in front of you with "test" audio files. That way, you can try out everything the manual explains, see how it works... I know I always do that.

Otherwise, I read the manual and things just slide on me!

WARNING:

When you aply a fade over multiple edit points, the first and last edit points do not fade correctly. It is a bug and has not been fixed yet.

Yes: I set my nudge to the value of the fades, TAB to the end, CMD-OPT-"-", CMD-F.

Amongst other things.
