Re: C24 but Ethernet enabled causes instant 9093 PT12.4
Escalated your issue, but you should still create a support case (and posting the case number here won't hurt)

Re: C24 but Ethernet enabled causes instant 9093 PT12.4
Update, still havent had a fix yet from avid about 12.5 which is supported on windows 10.
However one of the reasons im still pretty sure that me updating pro tools is going to have little affect is; Remember i said i tried the 2020 pro tools ultimate trial but couldnt actually use it because i didnt have a digilink license? Well it did install the latest 'ÁVID ICON C24 Ethernet support version 20.9.1.123 (7/09/2020) So using that specific ethernet protocol in the ethernet properties still causes 9093 errors with playback impossible. Uninstalling these protocols and keeping ethernet active and pro tools works again, perfectly. Anybody have any other suggestions? Does anyone think a seperate Ethernet PCIE card would help? Is it just the motherboard it doesnt like? Cheers.

My original request was for a PTHD 12.5 download link which i should have access too but never had the download link for. Thats still missing and thats the version i need. Looking in the downloads center the earliest it shows are 12.6 Cheers.

Re: C24 but Ethernet enabled causes instant 9093 PT12.4
So supported PT 12.5 on windows 10 made absolutely no difference. Same error.
Really glad right now i didnt spend $1,900 US on the latest pro tools and $300 US on a digi link license, i would have been well pissed. So now that Pro Tools compatibility is finally ruled out, any other suggestions? Would an additional PCIe Ethernet card be worth the expense to try?

Re: C24 but Ethernet enabled causes instant 9093 PT12.4
For what it’s worth, I purchased an Intel seperate Ethernet pcie card. Only managed to perform a quick test but so far it seems rock solid. No more playback errors with the c24. I can only summarise that the c24 and or pro tools did not play well with the msi motherboards Ethernet port which is a Realtek gigabit chip. The intel gigabit chip seems to have done the trick.
I will now transfer my audio drives over and reinstall plugins etc open up a proper session to give it a proper test.
