File Management-Lost Fades and Files ???
Hi,
I am a very organized Pro Tools user. I have my sessions saved working off an external Glyph 250 GT-050 via firewire. I am running Pro Tools LE 7.4 on a G5 dual 2.5 GHZ, 400 MB memory. I noticed when I open sessions I am missing some fade files, and even a few audio files, 99% of the time the system is able to relocate, or recreate the files. I am organized and confused why everything doesn't just open up without any missing fades, or files to be recoated or recreated. Am I doing something wrong? I also sometimes notice moving fades and audio files jumping around onto different drives time to time. It recreates a folder and has some of the files from a recently opened session. Weird. I am assuming this issue is connected to the previous. I run disk utility often and hope there is an easy fix! Thanks in advance! Dan

Do you have 'Round Robin' selected. This option spreads files across multiple HD's.
