Default Beat Detective Question

I wanted to know how I can use Beat Detective to make a tempo and grid for a song I recorded that orginally had NO click or set tempo. The drummer stayed pretty on beat. How can I identify the beat? Thanks! I want to make it snap to a grid so I can remix it andput a drum loop to it.

Default Re: Beat Detective Question

your probably going to run into problems even if the drummer is close to the grid, I would grid edit the drums, then add the loop in.
If you want to build a grid, tab to each Snare on the 2 and 4 hit and use command I to place a beat marker, you have to enter the bar and beat for every hit.
