they will jam all the new features in the last 2 weeks of the 1st year .. kidding but they must have some legal obligation to Provide some features or they would be in violation of a False Advertising Law ...

if Avid would just be upfront with us and say the words .. "We Legally have until August 1st, for example, to publicly deliver new Features Based on what we Advertised .. " ... but for some reason Avid is tight lipped ... no doubt they are working on them .. not a good way to do a Rollout .. i think we all agree on that .. and probably some at Avid feel this way as well ..

I figured it out!

Avid is catering to people who have working systems and don't want them broken by new bugs introduced by modifying the code!

Don't you see? They're doing us all a favor!

Thank you, Avid.

It's not that i'm mean or something, but if i were Avid i would extend the subsciption to at least one year beginning from the first serious ProTools update. Everything else is embarrassing for this company.

Agree completely. Then I would get 12HD, beta test as it were, and not fear losing subscription time with no value in the present update.

And Avid would cash in from all of us who are waiting.

I really want to, but I won't...yet.

However, it seems that every day that goes by leaves all the customers, especially the HD users, more and more perplexed...just sayin' Avid.

They still can't tell us what happens if we 11HD folk don't upgrade to 12HD by end of the year. Almost 8 months since license changes announced (Oct 10, 2014). Sorry AVID, ridiculously bad product release and customer communications. Pretty much epic at this point...
